After the dam broke, the investors of the Toxaway area decided to divvy up and separate out the property assets. Apparently, there were several law suits and this was the resolution.
While all of this was happening, some of the other Inns and businesses to the west were less impacted and continued to run. At Overlook, the Morrows still kept their property in the family and loved the home and life that they had built. The locals did not need a lake, and they knew how to cross a river too!
